Karen Kofron

Karen Kay Kofron, daughter of Harry and Luva Avis Tritle, was born March 12, 1945, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She graduated from Cedar Rapids High School in 1963 and Iowa State University in 1967 with a B.A. degree. She taught Art in Ames, Iowa and Special Education in Tipton. Karen was also owner/secretary of Kofron Enterprises. She was a member of First United Church of Christ and P.E.O. Karen is survived by her daughter, Kara Kofron of Tipton, Iowa; and brother Gary Tritle of Austin Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Chuck. Memorial may be made to the University of Iowa Cancer Research.
