Kathye Karlene Clark

Kathye Karlene Clark, 73, of Oxford Junction, Iowa passed away unexpectedly in her home on Saturday, June 27, 2026. 

Graveside services and burial will take place Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Rochester Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Buchanan House Winery at 726 Green Rd., west of Tipton.

Kathye, daughter of Ernest Ross Hall and Thelma Mae Pilcher Hall, was born on September 20, 1952 in Waterloo, Iowa. Kathye graduated from Cedar Rapids High School and was later united in marriage to Roger Tucker and later married Frederick Clark. Later in life Kathye worked for Theisen’s in Tipton for many years as a Floor Supervisor until her retirement. Part of her joy in life was taking trips every year with Cindy Dykstra. In fact, they were scheduled to take a week’s vacation to the Wisconsin Dells on July 6th and was so looking forward to this trip. Kathye enjoyed her flowers and garden and even mowing her yard. She had a great love for her cats, Essie Sue, Sadie Mae and Frank. She loved going to nearby wineries, playing bingo and volunteered at different Oxford Junction activities. Kathye loved to bake and would often share the treats from her kitchen with others.

Kathye is survived by her son, Brandon Tucker of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, her brother, Bernard “Bud” (Mary) Hall of Evansville, Indiana. She will be greatly missed by her special friends, Cindy Dykstra and Donna Reding of Iowa, Lynn Horstmann of Minnesota, and Patti Howard of Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred Clark, and her infant sister, Jolene Hall.
