Kay Dawn (Faas) Rebec

Kay Dawn Rebec, 86, of Tipton, was found by her neighbor and appeared to have died peacefully in her home on Thursday, April 16, 2020. A private burial of her cremated remains will be held in the Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Cedar Bluff, Iowa at a date yet to be determined. She graduated from Franklin High School, Cedar Rapids, Iowa and attended Coe College for one year. Kay was married to Jack Eugene Rebec on September 1, 1956 and worked as a secretary for the medical department at the University Of Iowa Hospital. Kay enjoyed fishing with her husband until his death on January 31, 2010. Kay is survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters one of which was Bonnie Carpenter of Allen, Tx.
