Kenneth H. Ehlers, son of Albert & Lena Meyer Ehlers, was born November 2, 1925, in Clarence, Iowa. Kenneth served in the United States Army during WWII. On August 2, 1947, Kenneth was united in marriage to Maxine S. Schult, in Davenport, Iowa. Kenneth farmed for 44 years and was a commercial spray painter for 15 years. He was a member of Peace Church of Christ United in Bennett, Tipton VFW Post #2537, Farm Bureau and past member of the Tipton Moose Lodge. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Maxine Ehlers, of Tipton, Iowa; 2 daughters, Elaine Taylor, & husband, Doug, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Deanna VandenBerghe, of Olathe, Kansas; 3 sons, Ronald Ehlers, & wife, Iola, of Tipton, Iowa; Rick Ehlers, & wife, Darlene, of Tipton, Iowa, and Randall Ehlers, & wife, Kim, of Bennett, Iowa; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Venita Rorick, of Bennett, Iowa, and Jeanette Mattews, & husband, Sam, of Jacksonville, Florida; and a brother, Merlin Ehlers, & wife, Gwen, of Sturgis, South Dakota. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Lena Ehlers; and 2 brothers, Arthur and Robert Ehlers.
