Kevin Miles Mcclure

Kevin Miles McClure, 51, of Stanwood, was found in the McAndrews Wildlife Area in Clinton County on June 28, 2024.  Kevin passed away doing what he enjoyed, spending time outdoors and being with nature. Kevin was born on May 7, 1973 in Iowa City, Iowa. He was the son of Anthony and Sharon Fitch McClure. Kevin grew up and learned to love the outdoors, motorcycles, cars and playing pool. Kevin was a very loving man who would always be willing to give you anything he had while still having his wild side. He loved his boys, Zach and Jacobi and has recently become a grandfather with his granddaughter, Harmoney. Kevin learned how to be responsible as he was a Boy Scout and earned the prestigious award of Eagle Scout. He was a Maintenance Tech Leader for Oral-B where he worked for many years. He was united in marriage to Burgundie Holmes in Iowa City and even though they later divorced they still remained friends.

Kevin has left behind his sons, Zachary Thompson and Jacobi McClure and his granddaughter, Harmoney McClure, many friends and family. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony “Andy” and Sharon McClure. A special thank you for all of those friends, neighbors and authorities who gave their time to help search for Kevin.
