He loved to watch his children and grandchildren play basketball, baseball, softball, football, soccer, swimming, volleyball and cheerleading/dance. Leroy enjoyed camping with his family, traveling to all 48 continental states. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife to Europe, Hawaii, the Bahamas, Las Vegas, and Branson, Missouri. One of his many talents was woodworking such as building his daughters a first class playhouse, creating miniature farm buildings and wooden animals for his grandsons, and doll furniture for his granddaughters. He enjoyed working with the youth in Bennett volunteering time as a Cub Scout leader and working with the church youth group. Other activities he enjoyed were bowling, buying lottery tickets (not always winning), gambling at the river boats and Las Vegas, and drinking coffee with the âEA
