Lester Humphrey

Lester Arthur Humphrey, son of Charles & Myrtle Havey Humphrey, was born April 19, 1915, in Derbie, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Nadean Downing. Lester chose Jesus as his Savior as a young man and followed Christ faithfully throughout his life. A dedicated and much loved husband and farther, Lester was also a farmer and a carpenter. He was known for his knowledge of the Bible and his wry sense of humor. Lester is loved and survived by his wife, Nadean Humphrey, of Tipton, Iowa; his daughters, Kathleen Humphrey, of Tipton, Iowa, Lorraine Abrahamson, & husband, Alan, of Tipton, Iowa, and Elizabeth Humphrey-Robison, of Littleton, Colorado; his sons, Steven Arthur Humphrey, of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, Roy Alan Humphrey, & wife, Sherry, of Tipton, Iowa, Paul Wayne Humphrey, & wife, Mary, of Davenport, Iowa and Mark Charles Humphrey & wife Joanie, of West Branch, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Christina Quick and Francis Umberger, both of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
