Lillian Hipple

Lillian Mae Hipple, daughter of Jerry and Anna Schroeder Schlicht, was born May 24, 1913, in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. She was a graduate of Walnut, Iowa High School. On April 29, 1937, Lillian was united in marriage to John Vernon Hipple in Woodstock, Illinois. She was a homemaker and a member of Red Oak Grove Presbyterian Church. Lillian was a member of Tipton Women's Club, Tipton Senior Center and a past member of the Rebekah Lodge. Lillian is survived by her daughter-in-law, Nancy Hipple of Tipton, Iowa; grandson, Greg (Pat) Hipple of Solon, Iowa; granddaughters, Debra (Michael) Peterson of Carpentersville, Illinois, Teresa (Jeff) King of Tipton, Iowa; great-grandchildren, Janeen and Gary Hipple, Britton Stolter, Alex and Logan Peterson, Zachary and Taylor Doermann, Courtney and Ryan King. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Anna Schlicht; husband, John in 1989; son, Donald V. Hipple; sisters, Alma Peterson, Lizzie Troll, Maggie Feldman; brothers, Johnny Schlicht, Harry Schlicht, Clarence Schlicht, Marvin Schlicht. Memorials may be made to Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Tipton.
