Lois Bahmler

Lois Mae Bahmler, daughter of Alta & Fred Howard, was born October 23, 1920, in Cedar County, Iowa. She attended country school near Cedar Bluff and graduated from Tipton High School in 1938. On October 21, 1939, Lois was united in marriage to Don Bahmler. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, church guild, Tipton Women's Club and various card groups. She enjoyed visiting with famly and friends. Lois is survived by her daugher, Barbara Gritton & husband, Roger of Clarence, Iowa; grandchildren, Mike Gritton & wife, Donna of Tipton, Mark Gritton of Lowden, and Sherri Moore & husband, Mark of Granger, Texas; 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 step-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alta & Fred Howard; stepfather, Elmer Stout; sister, Marguerite Kruse; and a brother, Robert Howard. She will be greatlly missed by those who knew her. A memorial has been established in honor of Lois.
