Lois Lorraine Conway, 88, died peacefully on Thursday, September 18, 2014, Mercy Hospital, Iowa City. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014, 10:30 am, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tipton. Burial will follow in the Tipton Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Fry's. A memorial fund for the Iowa City Hospice has been established. Online condolences and photographs may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com. Lois was born on March 2, 1926 in Cedar County, Iowa and was the daughter of Peter Merle and Elizabeth Mae Chapman Laucamp. On July 21, 1947 she was united in marriage to Joseph James Conway in Davenport. Lois was the office manager for Cedar Manor Nursing Home for 30 years, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Tipton, a Charter member of the VFW Auxiliary, Tipton, a member of the Tipton Women's Club, a member of St. Mary's Guild, the Tipton Study Club and a member of the graduating Tipton High School Class of 1944. Lois is survived by her two daughters, Patti Jo (Ed) Novak of Welton, Iowa, Teresa (Doug) Krob) of Tipton, Iowa; grandchildren, Shawn Sulzner, Tim Sulzer, Mike Novak, Katie Novak, Erin Hoose, Noah Krob; Great grandchildren, MacKenzie Sulzner, Kolton Sulzner, Reilly Sulzner, Emmett and Oscar Hoose; sister, Clarice Glenney of Wilton, Iowa; brothers, Robert Laucamp of Wilton, Iowa and William Laucamp of Moscow, Iowa; and special friend, Don Hansen of Wilton, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Ida Mae Kroger and Florence Cooling.
