Louise Schneider

Louise Maxine Gilmore Schneider, daughter of Isaac M. & Grace E. Breese Gilmore was born on May 2, 1926, in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Des Moines East High School in 1945. She was united in marriage to John Joseph Schneider on May 1, 1948 at St. Ambrose Cathedral in Des Moines. Louise is survived by her daughters, Linda Schneider & Walletta Claassen, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Mary Rees & husband, Jim, of Bostic, North Carolina, Diane Catron of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Patricia Schneider of Eldridge, Iowa, Kathleen Schneider & Rick Downey of Oshawa Ontario Canada; sons, James Schneider & wife, Deborah of Tipton, Iowa and Paul Schneider of Iowa City, Iowa; 17 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac & Grace Gilmore; her husband, John Schneider on April 20, 2004; a son, John Joseph Schneider; sisters, Helen McGriff and Dorothy John; and brothers, Robert, Henry and Marion Gilmore.
