Lucille Sissel

Lucille Olive Olson Sissel, daughter of Claude M. and Iva Pearl Adams Olson, was born October 20, 1917 in Cedar County, Iowa. She attended Davenport Schools while growing up. On September 12, 1935, Lucille was united in marriage to Raymond Howard Sissel in Tipton, Iowa. She lived her life as a homemaker and was an accomplished rug weaver. Lucille was a past member of the Royal Neighbors of America. Lucille is survived by many neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude M. and Iva Olson; her husband, Raymond on April 12, 1996; her sisters, Martha Bessenecker and Gladys Sindt; and brothers, Louis, Cleo, Eugene, Leonard and Alvin Olson. A memorial has been established in honor of Lucille.
