Marie Laing

Marie Ardith Buck Laing, daughter of Charles & Olga Coonrod Buck, was born June 15, 1927, in Lowden, Iowa. She attended Tipton Schools. Marie was united in marriage to John Henry Laing in Cedar County, Iowa. Marie is survived by her daughters, Barb Kaalberg, & husband, Don, of West Liberty, Iowa, Mary Lou Laing, of Tipton, Iowa, and Jean Laing, of West Branch, Iowa; her sons, Merlin Laing, & wife, Joyce, Dan Laing, & wife, Kathy, Larry Laing, & wife, Deb, and Ronnie Laing, all of Tipton, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lydia Mensing, & husband, Richard, of Davenport, Iowa, Margaret Hansen, & husband, Harold, of Clarence, Iowa, and Judy Wulf, & husband, Dale, of Clarence, Iowa; and her brother, Roland Buck, of Lowden, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Olga Buck; husband, John Laing in 1971; and sister, Gertrude Kopf.
