Marjorie Bailey

Marjorie Kenyon Bailey, daughter of Guy and Ella Kathryn Scheets Bridgford, was born April 17, 1923, in Durant, Iowa. She graduated Valedictorian at Durant High School. Marjorie was united in marriage to Denver C. Kinyon on June 15, 1940 in Durant, Iowa. She was employed as an Inspector at Owens Brush for 25 years. She was a member of the Fairfield First Lutheran Church and First Lutheran Church Quilters. Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Schrock and husband, Clifford of Wellman, Iowa, Carolyn Smithburg and husband, Dennis of Batavia, Iowa, Sally Schrock and husband, Woodrow of Williamsburg, Iowa; sons, Larry Kinyon of Jacksonville, Florida, Terry Kinyon and wife, Mary of Loveland, Colorado; 19 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Ella Bridgford; daughter, Bonnie Eicher; brother, Lawrence; and great-grandson, Andy. Memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church, Fairfield.
