Mary Davis

Mary Frances Poulter Boyer Davis was born on April 14, 1924, the daughter of Robert and Bertha Poulter. She attended school in Rock Falls, Illinois. Mary worked in the nursing home and as a housekeeper for many people in her community. She loved children and enjoyed babysitting. Mary married William Boyer on June 28, 1945. They were blessed with two children, Rosemary and Louise. She later married Earl Davis on May 10, 1964. Mary loved listening to and singing music. Two of her favorites were How Great Thou Art" and "In The Garden". Mary also enjoyed cooking and baking. Mary is loved and survived by her daughter Louise (Joseph) Frejek of Dewey Arizona; grandsons Russell Scheeper of Tipton Iowa Ryan Scheeper of Clinton Iowa; great-grandchildren Nicholas Brandon Skyler Alexis Nevaeh Lillia and Chase. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Bertha Poulter; husbands William Boyer in 1963 and Earl Davis in 1976; daughter Rosemary Boyer in 2006; and brother Roy Poulter. A memorial has been established in memory of Mary."
