Melissa Ann Snyder

Melissa Ann Snyder, 45, of Tipton, Iowa, entered eternity Thursday, June 6, 2024 at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.  Visitation will be held 9 – 10:30 AM, with funeral services immediately following at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Melissa Snyder Memorial Fund.  Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com.

Melissa was born October 14, 1978 in Carroll, Iowa, the daughter of David Bradford Chappell and Donna June Flockhart Chappell.  Melissa graduated from North Cedar High School in 1997 and went on to become a sales associate at Tiger Mart in Tipton.  She enjoyed reading Harry Potter books, but Tweety Bird was her favorite.

Melissa is survived by her parents, David Chappell and Donna Chappell, both of Camdenton, MO; her children, Jennifer of Camdenton, MO, and Dawn, Ava and Kaleb all of Lisbon, IA; sister, June McMurrin of Tipton; and brothers, David (Jennifer) Chappell of Mechanicsville, IA and John Chappell of Rock Island, IA.
