Mitchell Spickermann

Mitchell Warren Spickermann, son of Warren Roger and Barbara Lucille Steen Spickermann, was born September 6, 1957 in Davenport, Iowa in Mercy Hospital. Mitch was a 1976 graduate of the Bennett High School. Mitch loved the outdoors. He loved to trap, hunt and fish and usually competed in the annual fish-o-rama with his friends. He was a member of the National Trappers Convention, the Bennett Sons of the American Legion, a Cabelas Club member, loved to watch NASCAR, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Star Trek. He lived in Bennett his whole life. He enjoyed life and living at home as well as playing trivial pursuit and game shows. Mitch is survived by his parents, Warren and Barbara Spickermann of Bennett, Iowa; his sister, Michelle (Mrs. Maurice) Veurink of West Jordan, Utah; his brother, Mark (Pamela) Spickermann of Mechanicsville, Iowa; grandmother, Okyelle Steen of Princeton, Iowa; nephews, Shane, Aaron, Garrett, Dalton; and niece, Hailey; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael; grandmother, Leonora Porter; grandfathers, Roy Steen and Henry Spickermann.
