Naomi Sell

Naomi Mary Hudson Sell, daughter of Louis Fredrick and Bertha Leon Hudson Unruh, was born July 18, 1921 in Lisbon, Iowa. Because of the Great Depression of 1929, Naomi only attended school through the eighth grade. On February 1, 1942, Naomi was united in marriage to Ralph J. Sell in Kahoka, Missouri. Ralph and Naomi farmed near Olin, Iowa most of their lives together until Ralph died. Naomi is survived by her son, Larry J. Sell of Tipton, Iowa; sisters, Joyce Miller of Mechanicsville, Iowa, Loraine Rudolph and Delores Truhler of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister, Maxine Knifen; brothers, Clyde, Clair, Robert, Lawrence, Fay, Ray, Glenn and Henry.
