Nathaniel Alan Fitch

Nathaniel Alan Fitch, 50, of Wilton, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics – Hospice Care after a 1½-year battle with cancer.

Services will be held Monday, March 9, at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton, with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at a later date.

Nathaniel was born January 10, 1976, to Lyle and Cynthia (Spear) Fitch in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He attended Tipton Community Schools and graduated with the Tipton High School Class of 1994.

Nathaniel enjoyed spending time with family, especially traveling to visit his Nebraska relatives in summer. He enjoyed anything rodeo and outdoors. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Triple B Construction in Wilton.

Nathaniel is survived by his significant other, Carla Oien and her children, Grace, Regan, and Kylee Johnson; and her mother, Kim Kreimeyer, all of Wilton. He is also survived by his parents, Lyle and Cynthia (Spear) Fitch of Tipton; his brother, Adam (Kerri Driscoll) Fitch and their children, Delaney, Garret, and Kenley Fitch of Tipton; and his sister, Jenny (Matt) Jackson and their children, Kennedy Jackson and Brennan Esbeck of Tipton.

Nathaniel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Forrest and Beverly (Reeve) Fitch and Ronald and Marjorie (Johnston) Spear.
