Norma Riedesel

Norma Velma Paustian Riedesel, daughter of Herman Henry & Wilma Amanda Sophia Edler Paustian, was born April 26, 1929 in New Liberty, Iowa. She was a 1947 graduate of Davenport HIgh School. After high school she worked at Wieman's Drug Store. On November 22, 1947, Norma was united in marriage to Wayne Louis Riedesel at the Peace Church of Christ United in Bennett, Iowa. After her children were grown Norma went to work at Wheatland Manor, where she remained employed for 16 years, as a cook. Norma is survived by her daughters, Sherry Bunge & husband, Glenn of West Branch, Iowa and Brenda Kline & husband, Curt of Lansing, Illinois; sons, Steven Riedesel & wife, Nancy of Wheatland, Iowa and Donald Riedesel & wife, Radine of Maysville, Iowa; her grandchildren, Dani Oberhoffer and husband Steve, Chris Kline, Teri Bell & husband, Tom, Dena Samuels & husband, Derek, Chris Bunge & wife, Melissa, Jeff Riedesel & wife, Melissa, Jeni Petersen & husband, John, Rana Bolinger & husband, Chris, James Riedesel & wife, Robin and Matthew Tryan; 16 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren; sister, Wylene Hostler & husband, Larry of Tipton, Iowa; brothers, Dallas Paustian & wife, Marlene of Anamosa, Iowa and Dennis Paustian & wife, Diane of Durant, Iowa; and brother-in-law, Bob Riedesel & wife, Carol of Huntington Beach, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman & Wilma Paustian; her husband, Wayne Riedesel on November 11, 1998; and grandson, Michael Riedesel. Memorials may be made to the Tipton Senior Dining.
