Pearl Caroline Conant, 92, of Tipton, entered eternal rest on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Cedar Manor Nursing Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 2nd from 4:00-7:00 pm at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Funeral services will also be held at Fry's on Thursday, March 3rd at 10:30 am. Burial and Graveside service will be at Tipton Masonic Cemetery with a luncheon at St. Mary's Hall immediately following the funeral service. Memorials in Pearl's honor should be directed to Tipton Senior Dining. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com. Pearl's life journey began on March 12, 1923, in New Hartford, Iowa, where she was born to Chauncey and Anna (Christopherson) Yost. She attended Aredale High School and graduated with the class of 1942. Pearl was united in marriage to the late H.L. Wilkinson and together they had two daughters; Judy and Beverly. In 1954, Pearl re-married in Princeton, MN, to the late Glen Allen Conant. Together they had three daughters; Vicki, Debra and Dawn. As a homemaker, mother and wife, Pearl truly cherished her family. She also was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed making prom dresses. Other interests of Pearl's were bowling and golfing, walking and dancing. She was a member of Gospel Hall Church in Marion, Iowa. Pearl is survived by her 5 daughters, Judy (Chuck) Lukemyres of Tipton, Beverly (Tom) Petitgout of Tipton, Vicki Breck of Cedar Rapids, Debra (Allan Charette) Conant of Tipton and Dawn Claney of Brashear, TX; brother, Chauncey (Sandy) Yost of Middleton, WI; 12 grandchildren, 16 Great grandchildren and 4 Great-Great grandchildren. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands; sisters, Helen, Wava and Carol.
