Ralph Arnold Billick, 78, passed away peacefully on the farm on Sunday, May 25, 2025, after a short illness. Per his wishes, his body has been cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Ralph was born in Iowa City on November 30, 1946, to Marion and Vivian Shipley Billick. He served in the United States Air Force from 1965-1969, as a jet engine mechanic. While stationed in Panama City, Florida, he met another Iowa transplant, Ann Jackson. The two were married there on February 17, 1968.
Survivors include his wife, Ann; daughters, Kim and Shelby; and son, Mike. He was the beloved “papa” to Maggie, Maddie and Mikey. The eldest of eleven siblings, he is also survived by sisters Twila, Monica, Beverly and Francis, and brothers Bruce, Kenny, Grady, Steve, John and Tim.
