Ralph Wilke

Ralph W. Wilke, son of William Gustav & Henrietta Wilhelmina Voight Wilke, was born November 25, 1926, in Sunbury, Iowa. He was a graduate of Tipton High School. On October 30, 1949, Ralph was united in marriage to Luva Jean Achey in Stanwood, Iowa. He was a printer by trade, retiring as Vice President of Sales for Economy Advertising, Iowa City, in 1987. He was a member of Tipton United Methodist Church and Experimental Aircraft Association. Ralph is survived by his daughters, Becky Hill & husband, Jack of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Terry Wands & husband, Tim of Shorewood, Minnesota; son, Randy Wilke & wife, Debbie of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; grandchildren, Tim Hill, Katie Kintzle, Sondra Wands,Bryan Wands, Nichole Wilke, and Scott Wilke; great grandchildren, Frank Hill and Jane Hill; sisters, Viola Koch of Titon, Iowa and Alice Bernanek & husband, Jack of Davenport, Iowa; an aunt, Joyce Wilke of Tipton, Iowa; and several beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Henrietta Wilke; his wife, Luva Jean Wilke on December 5, 1985; infant son, Tommy; and sister, Evelyn Sulzner.
