Richard Buttolph

Richard Merland Buttolph, son of Merland and Darlene Hollingsworth Buttolph, was born on October 17, 1953 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was a 1972 graduate of the Bennett High School. Rich had lived in Bennett, Brooklyn, NY and most recently in Iowa City where he was a full time student at the University of Iowa. He enjoyed music, especially the Beatles, the Cubs Baseball Team, poetry, reading and fitness. Richard is survived by his parents, Merland and Darlene Buttolph of Bennett, Iowa; sisters, Sherry (Gary) Bentrott of Bennett, Iowa, Mary (Bob) Campbell of Allen, Texas; 4 nieces, Sandra Mathis, Susan Kleppe, Paige Campbell and Cheryl Telsrow; 4 nephews, Rich Bentrott, Steve Bentrott, Michael Kleppe and Todd Kleppe. He was preceded in death by his niece, Dawn Bentrott.
