Richard Mitzner

Richard John Mitzner was born May 15, 1927, first son to Carl Joseph and Margaret Elizabeth Mitzner in Colesburg, Iowa. He graduated from Tipton High School. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Korean Conflict. Richard worked at trucking, farming and sawmilling. Richard greatly enjoyed working in the timber and was very proud of running a sawmill and producing quality lumber. Traveling all over the US was a great joy to Richard and maintaing family connections was alwalys important to him. Richard is survived by his brother, Raymond (Marlys) Mitzner; three nieces, Carol, JoDee and NanC; and 5 cousins He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl & Margaret Mitzner; brothers, James in 1935 and Robert in 1941; his wife Anna Mae and a stepson.0.023702.00.00.023680.00.00.00.00.0
