Richard Thomas

Richard Alan Thomas, son of Vernon and Wilma Marie Lukavsky Thomas, was born December 6, 1958, in Iowa City, Iowa. He was a graduate of Tipton High School. On October 5, 1984, Richard was united in marriage to Roberta Susanna Back in Tipton, Iowa. He was employed as a yardman at Nagle Lumber in Iowa City. Richard is loved and survived by his wife, Roberta Thomas of Tipton, Iowa; daughter; Becky Thomas and fiance, Chuck Donohoe of Solon, Iowa; sons, Josh Thomas of Hiawatha, Iowa, Matt Thomas and fiancee, Nichole Clark of Hiawatha, Iowa, and Benjamin Thomas of Tipton, Iowa; mother, Wilma Thomas of Tipton, Iowa; Grandchildren, Brandon and Kelsie Thomas and Ben and Bailey Donohoe; sister, Margaret Thomas of Tipton, Iowa; nephews, Damen Wallace of Mt. Vernon, Iowa and Travis Wallace of Iowa City, Iowa; great nephews, Isaac Klinkkammer, Kain Wallace, and Blake Taylor; great nieces, Mya Klinkkammer and Alyissa Wallace. He was preceded in death by his father in 1999 and his father-in-law in 1999; and nephew, Tyler Wallace. A memorial has been established in memory of Richard.
