Robert Edward Creque

Funeral services for Robert Edward Creque, 79 of Tipton who died Monday, October 24, 2011 will be held Friday, October 28, 2011 at 10:30 am at the Fry Funeral Home, Tipton with Pastor Ronald Lashmit officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 4-7 pm at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Burial will be in Tipton Masonic Cemetery. A memorial has been established in his memory. Robert was born October 27, 1931 in Stratton, Colorado. He was the son of Frank Clarence and Helen Marcella Brady Creque. Robert served his country in the United States Army from 1952-1954. He was united in marriage to Delores M. Pace on November 24, 1951 in Tipton, Iowa. Robert was a past member of the Farm Bureau and enjoyed coaching baseball. He was employed as an independent truck driver, retiring in 1994. Robert is loved and survived by his wife, Delores Creque of Tipton, Iowa; daughters, DeAnna and Rhonda Creque both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; grandchildren; Shani and Tera Creque and Nathan Hubler and wife, Jennifer; great-grandchildren Mia, Sarah and Rachel; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Mark and Rod; brothers, Frank, Jr., Donald, Melvin, Raymond and Charles; and a sister, Caroline.
