Robert Dee

Robert F. Dee, age 89, died February 12, 2005, of complications resulting from a stroke. He was born in Alburnett, Iowa, was raised on the farm during the Great Depression, and was a combat pilot in WWII, receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross, and the Air Medal. After the war, Robert completed his college degree, and spent a career in marketing, finishing his career as the Marketing Manager of the Forest Product Division at Owens-Illinois. Robert was devoted to his wife, Suzanne, for 59 years, and leaves 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Graveside services with military rites are scheduled for Wednesday, February 23, in the Red Oak Grove Cemetery, Tipton, Iowa, with the Rev. DeLane Wright officiating. Visitation will take place Wednesday morning from 9:00 am until the time of service at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton.
