Roger Beuthien

Roger Louis Beuthien, son of Edward & Wilhemina Copp Beuthien, was born October 27, 1924, in Wheatland, Iowa. He attended Bennett schools. Roger married Caroline Selma Emma Boedeker on December 4, 1948, in Wheatland, Iowa. Roger farmed from 1946-1979. He was a member of Big Rock Emanuel United Church of Christ, past Bennett Lions member; Bennett Senior Citizens and an honorary member of the Bennett Ambulance. He is survived by his wife, Caroline Beuthien of Bennett, Iowa; daughter, Sue Lyon & husband, Mark of Bennett, Iowa; sons, Kenneth Beuthien & wife, Shelley of Wheatland, Iowa and Doug Beuthien & wife, Judy of Bennett, Iowa; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, and 3 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Wilhemina Beuthien; and infant son, Tommy on October 1, 1955. Memorials may be made to the Bennett Ambulance and Bennett Senior Citizens.
