Roger Leroy Regennitter

Roger Leroy Regennitter, 80, formerly of Tipton and Coralville, found his peace early on Sunday, August 11, 2024 in the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 followed immediately by his funeral service at 11:00 at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton. Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic Cemetery. The Rev. Ronald Lashmit will officiate. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com.

Roger, son of Kenneth Roy Regennitter and Elsie Lee Miller Regennitter, was born on January 22, 1944 near Springdale, Iowa. Roger attended and graduated from West Branch High School with the Class of 1962 and then attended Iowa State University. Roger worked for Lear Corporation for many years as an Electrician and a member of the Teamsters #238.  Roger was known for his woodworking and fellowship with his coffee club buddies. He liked watching westerns and liked square dancing and polka dancing. He enjoyed working in his gardens and appreciated the beauty of flowers.

Roger is survived by his children, Randy (Hope) Regennitter and Rick (Rhonda) Regennitter, brother; Robert ‘Turk’ (Jan) Regennitter, four grandchildren, Rachel (T.K.) Knazze, Renee (Dan) Baur-McGuire, Riley Regennitter, Rayna Regennitter, great-grandchildren; Karsyn, Layla, Mya, Drake and Brooks; and many nieces and nephews.
