Ronald Boswell Anderson, son of Wilbur F. and Nellie Boswell Anderson, was born April 27, 1916, in Brownstown, Indiana. He attended school in Indiana, Ohio and Florida. Ronald was united in marriage on May 17, 1940 to Dorothy Lucille Osborn in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ronald farmed in Cedar County from 1939 until his retirement in 1976. He was a member of Farm Bureau, Cedar County Co-op, past treasure and elder of Red Oak Presbyterian Church. Ronald is loved and survived by his daughters, Karen (John) Achey of Tipton, Iowa, Linda (Mike) Spurgeon of Decorah, Iowa, Marilyn (Dennis) Carney of Tipton, Iowa; a son, Ray Anderson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; grandchildren, Beth, Tracy, Jenny, Terra, Kelly, Bryan, Robert, Mark; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madeline, Elizabeth, Gisele; sisters, Nelda Pucket of Indianapolis, Indiana, Clara Haskel of Arizona; brothers, Wilbur Anderson of Greenfield, Indiana, Gerald Anderson of Spencer, Indiana, and Jon Anderson of Gnaw Bone, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Nellie Anderson; his wife, Dorothy Anderson in 1992; granddaughters, Lisa Anderson and Jody Achey; a brothers, Gayle Anderson and Karl Anderson; and a sister, Mary Griner. Memorials may be made to the Ronald Anderson Memorial Fund in memory of Ronald.
