Ruth Kirkpatrick Gamble, daughter of Ray & Coral Stockton Kirkpatrick, was born April 23, 1916, in Mt. Vernon, Iowa. She was a 1936 graduate of Lisbon High School. On December 7, 1937, Ruth was united in marriage to Maurice Leroy Gamble, in Mt. Vernon, Iowa. Ruth was a homemaker and a teachers assistant at the Tipton Bible Church. Ruth is loved and survived by her daughters, Carol Daubs, & husband, Larry, of Center Point, Iowa and Helen Miner, & husband, Gerald, of Yates City, Illinois; a son, David Gamble, & wife, Sharon, of Jenison, Michigan; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Maxine Sievers, of Cedar Rapids Iowa and Verna Schulz, & husband, John, of Mercer, Wisconsin; and a brother, Dean Kirkpatrick, & wife, Dody, of Mechanicsville, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Gamble, on September 11, 1978; a sister, Opal Luerkens; and brother, Arlo Kirkpatrick.
