Samuel "Sammy" James McFadon, 19, of Bennett, Iowa, entered eternal rest Friday, July 24, 2015. Funeral services for Sammy will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 11AM in Bennett, Iowa, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Visitation will be on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 4-7PM at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton. Memorials may be designated to the McFadon Family. He graduated from Tipton High School in 2014. After high school, Sammy joined the National Guard Reserves. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He was also a member of Bennett's St. Paul Lutheran Church. Sammy liked blacksmithing and melting down metals. He enjoyed working out and loved the outdoors. He will greatly missed by his family and friends. Sammy is survived by his mother, Shonna McFadon of Bennett, Iowa; brothers, Jacob, Luke and Nile McFadon; grandparents, Terry and Fern McFadon of Muscatine, Iowa, and Margarete Maylone of Bettendorf, Iowa; great-grandparents, Lauren and Nona Jarrett of Muscatine; aunt, Linda Jarrett of Muscatine; and uncles Tim McFadon of Muscatine, and Chad McFadon of San Antonio, Texas.
