Funeral services for Sandra Kay Coiner, 68, of Yuma, Arizona who died Wednesday, November 9, 2011 will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 10:30 am at the United Methodist Church, Tipton with Rev. Tom Zeleney officiating. Burial will follow in Tipton Masonic Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. A memorial has been established in her memory. Sandra Kay Albaugh Coiner, daughter of Robert Carl and Florence Louise Nagel Albaugh, was born November 21, 1942 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was a 1961 graduate of Tipton High School and Cosmetology School in 1962. Sandra was united in marriage to William Henry Coiner on June 10, 1962 at the United Methodist Church in Tipton. They lived in and around the Muscatine area for 43 years before retiring to Yuma, Arizona. She was a devoted homemaker. Sandra enjoyed crafts which led to the beginning of a craft show business. She and Bill later traveled selling homemade ice cream at various state fairs. Sandra is survived by her husband, Bill Coiner of Yuma, Arizona; daughters, Kimberly (Michael) Pestle of Wilton, Iowa, Michaela (Tim) Meyer of Swisher, Iowa; son, Mike (Julie) Coiner of Davenport, Iowa; 6 grandchildren, Aaron (Angie) Pestle, Dane Pestle, Kyle Pestle, P.J. Engle, Lexi Coiner, Jacob Coiner; 2 great-grandchildren, Casiano Bravo and Damian Pestle; and sister, Kathleen (Norman Stepleton) Potter of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Gene Potter.
