Sandra Jo Miller

Sandra Jo Miller, daughter of Henry David and Mary Magdalene Fell Tank, was born on September 17, 1954 in Muscatine, Iowa. Sandy was a graduate of Tipton High School and later graduated from Scott Community College with a Nursing Degree. Sandy was married to Shawn A. Miller on January 18, 1992 in Apple Valley, California. Sandy worked as a nurse for several years at Prairie Hills Assisted Living Center in Tipton until her declining health forced her into early retirement. Sandy was a member of the Visiting Nurses Association and attended the Tipton Foursquare Gospel Church. Sandy is survived by her husband, Shawn Miller of Clarence, Iowa; her son and daughter-in-law, Toby and Dawn Boettcher of Clinton, Iowa; grandchildren, C. J. and Gabby Boettcher; Sister, Kathy Vance of Tipton, Iowa; brother, John Ford of San Diego, California. She was preceded in death by her parents. Sandy's family will receive friends at her visitation on Thursday, January 6 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton, Iowa. Following her visitation she will be cremated and will be buried in the Tipton Masonic Cemetery on Friday, January 7 at 2:00 pm.
