Selma Louise Kortum Dauber, the daughter of William Fredrick and Agnes Louise Schneider Kortum, was born May 1, 1921 in Tipton, Iowa. She attended school in Stanwood. Selma was united in marriage to Norman Stanley Dauber on April 2, 1941 in Clinton, Iowa. She worked as a licensed Cosmetologist, a seamstress and a quilter. She was a member of King's Daughters and BPW. Selma is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Carroll) Schlemmer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Nicki (Merle) Aikman of Tipton, Iowa; son, Gail Dauber of Stanwood, Iowa; grandchildren, Dan Dauber, Tobi Dauber, Tami Nomak, Chris Crowley, Kim Emrich, Kendra Anderson, Darick Albaugh, Casey Gade; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Neal Dauber, and ex-husband, Norman Dauber.
