Sherry Mahoney

Sherry Linn Mahoney, daughter of James Russell & Erma Ferne Turnipseed Lyle, was born December 14, 1948, in Washington, Iowa. She was a 1967 graduate of Tipton High School. Sherry was united in marriage to William Vernon Comer and later divorced. She married Terry James Mahoney and they later divorced. Sherry was involved in fundraising for the American Cancer Society. She was employed as the City of Marengo Utilities Clerk. Sherry is survived by her daughters, Tami Bass & husband, Larry of Bennett, Iowa and Melissa Braddock & husband, Mitch of DeWitt, Iowa; her mother, Erma Lyle of Tipton, Iowa; her grandchildren, Keayen, Dakota, Kami, Marissa, Mason & Mia; sisters, Susie Peck & husband, Don of Jackson, Michigan and Sally Zellers & husband, Don of Topeka, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her father, James Lyle in 1985; and her fiance, Celaine Cronbaugh on September 28, 2004.
