Stanley L. Eichhorn, son of Chris & Mayme Bottomstone Eichhorn, was born February 19, 1911, in Oxford Junction, Iowa. He was a 1930 graduate of Wyoming High School. Stanley enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1932. On January 11, 1936, Stanley was united in marriage to Lillian E. Nowachek in Anamosa, Iowa. Stanley farmed and was a salesman for Cornelius seed Corn for 50 + years. He was a member of Farm Bureau, Jones and Cedar Cattlemen, 4-H Leader in Cedar and Jones County, Jones County Youth Council, Eastern Iowa & State Angus Association, American Angus Association and the American Berkshire Association. Stanley is survived by his daughter, Janis Troop, & husband, Jack, of Coal Valley, Illinois; son, Gary Eichhorn, & wife, Retha, of Tipton, Iowa; grandchildren, Teri Baird, & husband, Al, of Tipton, Iowa and Windy Wagner, & fiance, Ted Hanrahan, of Centennial, Colorado; 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chris & Mayme Eichhorn; his wife, Lillian Eichhorn on September 26, 2000; and a grandson, Scott Eichhorn.
