Steven Charles Miller

Steven C. Miller, 61, of Tipton, Iowa died of an apparent heart attack on Monday, August 1, 2011. A Celebration of his life will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm, Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Steve was born on September 29, 1949 in Kewanee, Illinois and was the son of Charles and Macel Miller. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in VietNam and made his career as an over the road truck driver and lately helped manage the Tipton Motel. Steve is survived by his daughter, Corrie Thompson of Wichita Falls, TX; son, Steven Miller of North Las Vegas, NV; his mother, Macel Miller of Rockville, MD; sister, Charis Miller and brother, Marcus Miller, both of Rockville, MD; and the love of his life, Susie Harden of Tipton. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles, and his brother, Gregory.
