Viola Burnett

Viola Emma Burnett, daughter of Frederick D. & Amelia Hartwig Rixe, was born June 22, 1916, in Bennett, Iowa. On July 20, 1941, Viola was united in marriage to Cecil Chalmer Burnett in Cedar County, Iowa. She was a member of Peace Church of Christ United in Bennett. Viola is loved and survived by her husband, Cecil Burnett of Bennett, Iowa; her daughter, Pam Wuestenberg & husband, Bill of Davenport, Iowa; her son, Merton Burnett & wife, Carol of Bennett, Iowa; grandchildren, Christopher Burnett & wife, Angela and Tricia Burnett; and brother, Frederick Rixe & wife, Patricia of Catoosa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick & Amelia Rixe; and three brothers, August, Alfred and an infant boy.
