Warren Roger Spickermann

Warren Roger Spickermann, 77, of Bennett, died peacefully late Monday evening in the Mechanicsville (Iowa) Nursing & Rehab Center, Mechanicsville. He passed away comfortably with his family at his side. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at Fry Funeral Home with a brief funeral service immediately following at 7 p.m. with Rev. David Mears officiating. The immediate family will hold a private burial at a later date. Warren was born Dec. 1, 1936, in Davenport, and was the son of Henry and Leonora Greve Spickermann. He was a graduate of Bennett High School. On June 23, 1956, he was united in marriage to Barbara L. Steen. He was a farmer and a factory worker all of his life. He enjoyed bowling, bingo and loved visiting with family and friends. Warren is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Maurice) Veurink, West Jordan, Utah; and son, Mark (Pamela) Spickermann, Mechanicsville; sister, Rose Marie Wright, Bennett; brother, Allen (Barb) Spickermann, Tipton, Iowa; five grandchildren, Garrett (Andrea), Dalton and Hailey Veurink, and Shane and Aaron and fiancé
