Wayne Ford

Wayne Allen Ford was born October 17, 1941 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. He was one of seven children born to James Franklin and Dorothy Maxine Horn Ford. Wayne attended school in Tipton while growing up. He worked as a painter and was employed at the Foundry in Durant, Iowa. Wayne was known for being mechanically inclined. Wayne is survived by his sisters, Donna Salyars and husband, Lowell of Rochester, Iowa; Rhonda Driscoll and husband, Jim of Wilton, Iowa; brothers, Eldon Ford and wife, Norma of Rochester, Iowa, Herb Ford of Rochester, Iowa, Leo Ford and wife, Sharon of Rochester, and Douglas Ford and wife, Cathy of Rochester, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothy Ford. A general memorial fund has been established in memory of Wayne.
