William Inks

William Ralph Inks, son of Ralph Henry and Kathryn Agnes Gleason Inks, was born January 15, 1943, in Mechanicsville, Iowa. He graduated from Tipton High School in 1961. William was united in marriage to Marcia Kay Kroemer in Stanwood, Iowa on October 21, 1961. They later divorced. In 1977, William married Kris Hamilton. The later divorced. He was a self employed millright. William is survived by two daughters; Wendy Goben of North Henderson, Illinois and Jacki Langum of St. Louis , Missouri; two sons, Jeff Inks of New Braunfels Texas, and Travis Langum of Hollister, Missouri; four grandsons; Cameron Goben, Mason and Mitch Inks, and Drake Langum; granddaughter, Mercedes Inks; two sisters, Janet Ford and husband, Norm of Tipton and Mary Arline Smith of Coralville; special cousin, Bob Helm and wife, Amelia of Milan Illinois; nephews, Neil and Nolan Ford and wife, Julie of Tipton and Ken Smith of Coralville; great nephews, Riley, Zachary, Selassie, and great niece, Britney. He is also survived by one aunt, Florence Clark; brother, Wayne Shilling and wife, Martha; sister-in-laws, Dottie Shilling, Patty Shilling, Juanita Grosz and husband, Bob, Janet Stover, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents; brothers, Charles, John, Dick, and Bill Shilling; and sister-in-law, Donna Shilling. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
