Arlene Joyce (Behrend) Hines

Arlene Hines, 95, of Clarence, Iowa, entered eternity on Sunday, November 28, 2021 surrounded by her family in her home in Clarence. Private Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM, Rose Hill Cemetery in Mechanicsville with Dan Levsen officiating. Arlene was born the daughter of Fred John and Edna Ruth Loomis Behrend and came into this world on September 9, 1929 in Tipton, Iowa. She attended Tipton High School and on June 30, 1944 was united in marriage to Howard Dale Hines in Rock Island, Illinois. Arlene was a homemaker and worked for Oral-B for over 10 years.

Arlene is survived by her son and caregiver, Steven D. Hines, of Clarence, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Hines, her sister, Evelyn Riedesel and her 4 brothers; Robert, Leland, Melvin and infant Richard.
