Betty Ann Adney, 90, of Clarence and Tipton, died peacefully in her home on Monday, January 24, 2022 from natural causes. Funeral arrangements are currently pending with a Celebration of Life to be held in the Spring of 2022. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com.
Betty was born on November 16, 1931 in Alpena, Michigan. She was the daughter of Royal and Pauline Kanske Copper. She was united in marriage to Delbert “Del” H. Adney on March 21, 1952 in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin. Del preceded her in death in 2007. Betty worked for many years for US Nameplate where she worked as a machine operator.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Larry) Thielen; sons, Daniel (Cheryl) Adney, Dennis Adney, Duane (Melaine) Adney, Darrell Adney and David (Dawn) Adney; Sisters, Blanche Foriseth, Donna (Roger) Britian; Brothers, Jimmy (Bonnie) Copper, David (Diane) Copper and Larry Copper, and daughter-in-law, Becky Adney, 32 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert, her daughter, Barbara Sherrick, her son, Donald Adney and her sisters, Joyce Flanders and Mary Cannon.
