Evangeline Weimann Obituary

Evangeline Joan Weimann, 82, of Tipton, entered eternity on Thursday, March 31, 2022 while under the care of Cedar Manor Nursing Home. Graveside committal services will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 10:00 am in the Clarence City Cemetery. The Rev. Ronald Lashmit officiating. Joan, as she was mostly known by, was born on September 9, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois and was the daughter of Arthur and Lyda McCall Kane. Joan was united in marriage to Emerson Wayne Weimann on January 31, 1960 in Tipton. Together they raised their two sons, Martin and Eric. Joan worked for 10 years at the Southwind Motel and later worked at the Tipton Walmart for 15 years. She and Emerson attended the Tipton Foursquare Church. She was always a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. If you were ever in her home, you instantly could feel her love for her family and all who entered.

Joan is survived by her two sons, Martin and his wife, Becky, Weimann of Tipton and Eric and his wife Cathy Weimann of Mason City; four grandchildren, Stephen Weimann, Scott Weimann, Sondra Waite and Kira Millage; 5 great grandchildren, Ayden, Blakeley, Jude, Leon and Evangeline; her sister, Joy Parscal and her brother, William Kane, both of Washington, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents (Arthur and Lyda) , husband (Emerson) , brothers  (Claude and Arthur) and her sister (Marie).
