Les was born in Muscatine, Iowa on November 28, 1973, the son of Lester A. Proctor Sr., and Ellen C. (Clements) Proctor. He was the Maintenance Supervisor for SSAB, a job that he truly enjoyed.
Les was an outdoorsman. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed setting out bank lines and fishing for catfish and recently had become a fan of walleye fishing thanks to his brother in laws. If you couldn’t find Les at home, you could always find him at his dad’s. He loved spending time with his family and friends and we can’t forget his 4-legged best friend, Jack.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie; his father Lester Sr.; five daughters, MacKenzi (Austin) Thiering of Muscatine, Hannah Proctor of Wilton, TyLyn Cole of Bluegrass, Hailey Kearney of Bluegrass, and Taylor (Derick) Dennis of Browning, Missouri; a sister, Kari (Shaun) Donahue of Clarence, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Mason, Makari, Kayne, Bowen, Haven, Raylynn, Taya and Calvin; his dog, Jack; and two special nephews, Austin Ray and Connor Proctor as well as other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Proctor; a son, Matthew Proctor, his brother, Billy Proctor and his best friend, Mikey Hennings.
