Nadine J. Lafrenz, 91, of Tipton, formerly of Bennett, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 in the Cedar Manor Nursing Home. Private family funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 17 at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton. Pastor Scott Meyer officiating. Nadine was born on February 28, 1930 in Davenport, Iowa. She was the daughter of Chris and Olga McQuillen Schneckloth. Nadine attended Bennett School and after the school fire she graduated from Tipton High School in 1948. On November 24, 1950, Nadine was united in marriage to Leroy Henry Lafrenz in Tipton. Together they farmed east of Bennett. Nadine was a homemaker, farmer, 4-H Leader, seamstress and was known as the “Egg Lady”. She was a member of the Peace Church of Christ United in Bennett and the Bennett American Legion Auxiliary Unit 104.
Nadine is survived by her daughters, Linda (David) Meyer and Lu Ann (Dennis Kuysten) Lafrenz; daughter-in-law, Karen Lafrenz, 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Chris and Olga Schneckloth; husband Leroy Lafrenz; son Randy Lafrenz; and brothers, Leo and Edward Schneckloth.
