Nellie Morden Obituary

Nellie Louise Morden, 91, Tipton, died Sunday, April 27, 2014, Cedar Manor Nursing Home, Tipton. Services will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 10:30 AM, Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tipton. Burial will follow in the Tipton Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 9:00 AM until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established in her memory.
Louise was born on June 6, 1922 in Tipton and was the daughter of William and Letta Osceola Griffis Morden. She was a housekeeper and caregiver for many years as well as a longtime member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tipton.
Louise is survived by her brother, George Morden of Lowden, Iowa and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lucile Mowry, E. Jane Hawley and Marjorie Kogut; brothers, Lewis Morden, Robert Morden, LaVerne Morden and Roger Morden.
