Pearl Rosa Crispin, 95, of Tipton, died Monday, August 11, 2014 in her apartment in the Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Tipton. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 14 at 11:00 am at Fry Funeral Home, the Rev. David Lorenzen officiating. Burial to follow in the Red Oak Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 - 7 pm at Fry's. A memorial had been established in her memory. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com. Pearl was born on June 23, 1919 in Farmington Township, Cedar County, Iowa. She was the daughter of Carl Henry and Emma D. K. Schroeder Wieck. Pearl graduated from the Palestine Country School. On April 9, 1939, Pearl was united in marriage to Carl Alvin Crispin in the Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church in Wilton, Iowa. She was a homemaker, a member of the Red Oak Grove Presbyterian Church (now closed) and a current member of the First United Church of Christ in Tipton. Pearl is survived by her daughters, Nancy Hipple of Tipton, Iowa, Beth (Randall) Shaull of Greencastle, PA., Jan (Maurice) Krob of Tipton, Iowa; her son, Charles (Judy) Crispin of Davenport, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; Greg, Debra, Teresa, Amy (deceased), Matthew (deceased), John, Ryan, Chad, Amy, August, Jacob, Mackenzie, Ethan and Tyler; 34 great grandchildren, Britton, Alex, Logan, Janeen, Gary, Zach, Taylor, Courtney, Ryan, Aidan, Brendan, Aksel, Kyera, Haven, Amaya, Isaac, Sydney, Nicholas, Christian, Madison, Tyson, Evan, Camdyn, Sonny, Eli, Ella, Cooper, Greyson, Beckett, Lainee, Lincoln, Garrett, Greta, and Matilda; and one great-great grandchild, Kennadi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Crispin on January 4, 2003, son-in-law, Donald Hipple, parents, two brothers, five sisters and two grandchildren.
